I'm a self-taught wire jewelry fanatic. The funny part is I really don't wear much jewelry! I just love to make it. I currently sell in galleries and retail stores and am planning on just a couple shows in 2009.
I live in Michigan with my husband and 3 kids ages 5,8 and 12. Being a mom takes up a lot of time, so my stress relief is making jewelry, sometimes into the wee hours of the night because that's the only time I can hear myself think. With as much jewelry as I've made, one friend said to me, "You must have a lot of stress!" LOL! It's not that I have that much stress but that jewelry is so relaxing to me. I also make lampwork beads and play with polymer and resin.
My next projects are learning more metalsmithing and PMC.... then maybe one day I might even decide to make a DVD.... or write a book.... when I have the time. :)
